Implications of OER challenge

The paper brings to the forth the differences between the two teaching methods (traditional) which is teacher centered and (blended) which is enriched with open educational resources (OER). The authors argue that the use of OER such as videos, simulations, and learning games require the matching mobile and classroom technologies, such as portable devices. It is the view of the authors that if the OER and classroom technologies (which are referred to as teaching tools in education) are used properly they can enhance self-regulated learning of students.
